Orchestrating Manhattan Implementation for Levi's new distribution center in Europe
Introduction
In 2020 Levi Strauss embarked on a strategic initiative to build a 1.3 million sq ft warehouse in Germany to streamline its wholesale and retail distribution across Europe.
The project aimed to enhance their operational capabilities, bringing their wholesale / retail and, in future, their e-commerce services in-house to gain greater control over the customer logistics experience. However, the project faced a pause during the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed shortly after. To ensure seamless execution of the IT components, Levi Strauss engaged VCO Systems to support the IT implementation in the warehouse.
